The Havelock North Motor Lodge provides complimentary car parks for all guests. The car park is also monitored by security cameras.
Twelve units are at ground level, with adjacent car parking for maximum convenience. Two units are on the first floor, with easy access.
All of our Ground Floor Units are wheelchair accessible, with two of the King Studios being fully disability equipped.
At Havelock North Motor Lodge we strive to make your stay relaxed and stress free and taking care of your 'little ones' is important to us. We can provide a porta-cot and linen, highchair, and if necessary, a car seat. Please let us know your requirements when making your reservation.
We also have all SKY children's television channels for older children. The Village Green which is only a few minutes away, provide an outstanding children's playground and pool.

When families (or accommodation providers) make a booking online, it is automatically text and emailed to all of Rockmybaby's approved babysitters in the region. As soon as a baby sitter accepts, you receive their profile via email, and then the baby sitter will phone to introduce herself and confirm details.

All of our One and Two-bedroom Suites have spa baths. Our King Studios do not.
Triple sheeting uses three flat sheets to achieve a luxurious sleep experience with freshly laundered sheets covering all bedding. The first flat sheet goes down over the mattress protector, above this lies the second sheet. A contentental blanket is then placed on top of the second sheet and a final third sheet is placed on top of this.
This method of making the bed (used in leading hotels around the world) is a little more work for us and increases our laundry costs, but more importantly ensures a hygienic and luxurious nights sleep for you.
Bedspreads are prone to collecting dirt and absorbing everything from odours, body fluids, food and beverage spills, dust and grime.
Hotels and motels do not launder bedspreads after each guest checks out. In fact, they don't get washed very often!
That's why we don't have bedspreads! Instead, we use the triple sheeting method to ensure a hygienic and comfortable sleep for all guests.
Normally our room rates do not include breakfast, however, from time to time we do offer special packages, which may include breakfast. Breakfast can be ordered and is served in your rooms from 7:15 am weekdays and 8:15 am on weekends. Please check the menu available in your room and order at Reception before 7.15 pm the night before. A copy of the Breakfast Menu is also available under the 'Accommodation Tab' on this Website.
Havelock North Motor Lodge is a non-smoking property and smoking is strictly prohibited in all inside areas. Smoking is permitted at the outside tables as long as it does not impact other guests.
All Units have fully equipped kitchenettes. All are fully stocked with glassware, crockery, cutlery, bowls, and all utensils needed for daily living. All units also have a fridge and a microwave.
The One and Two-bedroom Suites also have hot-plates, pots and pans for stove-top cooking.

Generally the answer is no. We make an exception for guide dogs and other support animals on a case-by-case basis.
The Havelock North Motor Lodge at 7 Havelock Road, enjoy's a fantastic central location – right in the heart of Havelock North Village with all shops and restaurants within about 250 metres. It also provides easy access to wineries, golf courses and other local attractions with the Village Green (a mecca for children) literally just around the corner. Hawkes Bay Airport is about 25 minutes away.
Havelock North Motor Lodge is in the very heart of Havelock North Village and a wide range of quality eating establishments are literally within 200 metres.
Winery restaurants are also available only a short drive away.

Havelock North is the adventure and culinary capital of Hawkes Bay. Our website provides details of all wineries, restaurants and activities available in and around Havelock North. Our reception office also has a comprehensive collection of information brochures available and our staff will be happy to provide advice and make any bookings that you may need.
Taxis are available from the airport. The cost will be about $60-70 and the journey will take about 25 minutes.
Alternatively you can use one of the shuttle services available. Several of these are private services so that you don't have to stop at other properties on the way. The cost of these services is about $50.

Free and unlimited wireless internet is available throughout the property. The internet is 'fibre delivered' and is fast and reliable. A back-up network is available in the event of outages. An access code will be given to you on arrival and is good for 7 days. The access code can then be renewed if necessary.

Certainly! Small meetings can be held in one of out two-bedroom suites. If you have a large group of people and require a larger room(s) we can also recommended a number of venues close to the Havelock North Motor Lodge.

If you leave any property behind we will always secure it and arrange its return. Please call reception on (06) 8778627 to alert us. We can either charge the cost of postage to a credit card or you can send a postage-paid mail bag to us at 7 Havelock Road, Havelock North.
Yes. All Units are serviced daily. To help us conserve water and energy, you can place your towels on the heated towel rail and we will not replace them. If you want them replaced, simply leave them in a pile on the floor.
Your bed will be tidied except that if you have your personal belongings on it, we will leave it to you to pull up.
Dishes will be tidied but not replaced and washed each day when you are staying for multiple days.
When you are with us for an extended period, we will change your sheets every three-four days.
